HRIS first
The HRIS record is created before any downstream system request is raised
No manual re-keying
Downstream systems read the joiner record rather than a re-entered copy
Blocking checks
Right to work evidence must be cleared before the start date is confirmed
Exceptions escalate
A missing document escalates to the People Ops lead rather than proceeding
